I stumbled across Google’s mission statement the other day; “Our mission is to organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.”
It made me smile as I sat in front of my home PC, puppy at my feet as he tried to keep out of the heat. The question raised in my mind was how much of what we (MPC) know will be useful to others?
At Miles Phillips Consulting, we have had a really busy few months working with our amazing clients, seeking funds, writing business plans but also deciding how we share our knowledge with you… our colleague, our client, our friend, our staff.
Our new website gives us a chance to shine the light on what we do, to challenge us with the questions we pose to our clients “how are you collecting and sharing the good news stories?” and “why should people be interested in your work?”.
Our blogs and our news feeds give us a change to be like Google – to organise the key information that we feel is important to share with you and to make it accessible and useful for all. I therefore hope that the news that Jane and I share with you over the coming months is of benefit, time is short and there is so much info out there; we know it is easy to be overloaded.
We want to share the power of our knowledge as we know that it is the small things, the “did you knows’..”, the opportunities that come shining through the noise that can truly make a difference to your beneficiaries through the work we all do together to improve the world.
